Offprint is operated by Daniel Belfort. In these Terms, "Offprint's operator" means the person or entity operating Offprint at the time, and "we" and "us" refer to Offprint and its operator.

Offprint turns article links you save into a printed magazine mailed to your address. Your first magazine costs $29 during your 48-hour launch window, or $39 after. At checkout you choose recurring billing of $39/month, or $390/year for 12 monthly magazines, starting after your first-magazine period. Cancel anytime. Existing readers retain their magazine pricing, and already-paid magazines remain covered; checkout shows any agreed exception and the total before payment. Nothing prints without your explicit approval of that month's magazine, and a month you have paid for that does not print is kept as a magazine credit (see Magazine credits). If you have not confirmed your print details for a month by the deadline we text you, the saves in it move to your next magazine.
For each month of your subscription that you paid for, you get one magazine credit when that month ends. Each monthly magazine accepted by our printer uses one credit, and if the printer cancels it before printing, the credit comes back. So an unused credit stands for a month you paid for without getting a magazine. A refunded payment earns credits only for the whole months that the amount not refunded pays for at the monthly share of what you paid, counted from the start of the period it paid for; a full refund earns none. Months when your subscription is on a break you asked for do not earn credits. If a month you paid for ends with nothing to print, we may text you at the start of the next month and give you 24 hours to send links for that month; if you do not, it stays a credit.
Credits do not expire. Credits do not change your billing: your subscription keeps renewing as usual. For now, a credit is used only as described above; we will update these Terms before adding other ways to use one. If you delete your Offprint account, your credits are deleted with it.
If a month you have paid for runs light, we may first text you a short numbered list of articles you can choose to add; anything you choose is saved exactly as if you had sent us the link yourself. If your month is still light when it closes, and you agreed to this at checkout or were told about it by text, we fill the remaining space so that your magazine still prints, using only works in the public domain in the United States or essays their authors have licensed to us in writing. Filled pages are marked "picked for you" in your review list and in print; you can remove any of them before you approve, and nothing prints until you approve the whole magazine. You can turn this off at any time by texting "no picks", and back on by texting "picks on".
Offprint is a conversational SMS service: you opt in by texting our number first. We reply with save confirmations, monthly review summaries, shipping updates, and payment links for your own account — no marketing lists, no third-party messages. Message frequency varies with your usage; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How Offprint works. Offprint retrieves, formats, prints and mails content at the direction of the individual reader who sends it to us, as a private copy for that reader. Articles from other publishers are printed only when you choose them, by sending us a link or by picking from suggestions we offer. If your magazine runs light, we may add works in the public domain or essays whose authors have given us written permission to print them. You can turn this off at any time.
One copy, one reader. Each magazine is a single private copy, printed once, mailed only to the reader who requested it. Printed magazines are never resold, republished, syndicated, offered to anyone else, or used to build any collection or archive on our side. We keep no library of printed content: articles are stored only as working copies needed to produce that reader's magazine.
Copyright stays with the copyright holders. Authors and publishers retain all rights in their work. Offprint claims no rights in any article it prints. Where the source provides them, original bylines, publication names, and publication dates are preserved on the printed page.
Your promise about what you send. You may send Offprint only content that you have lawful access to and that you have the rights or permissions needed for Offprint and its printing and shipping providers to copy, store, process, format, print and ship to you, or whose use in that way is otherwise permitted by law. Being able to read something, whether on the open web, through a subscription, behind a login or from a shared link, does not by itself give you those rights. Offprint is not a way to obtain content you could not otherwise read, and we do not offer, advertise, or support circumventing any paywall, subscription, or technical protection measure. Where a publisher requires a subscription for access, that relationship is between you and the publisher.
Permission you give us. When you send us content, you direct us to perform those activities solely to produce and deliver your magazines. To the extent your permission is needed, you grant Offprint's operator, its owners and any successor entity, and its printing and shipping providers, a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to copy, store, process, format, print and ship that content for that purpose only. This does not transfer ownership of any content to us and does not allow us to publish, resell or promote it. You can only grant permissions you actually hold; these Terms do not create rights you do not have.
Responsibility for claims. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Offprint's operator, its owners and any successor entity from and against third-party claims arising from content you submitted to Offprint or from your breach of the promises in this section, including reasonable losses, damages and legal costs resulting from those claims and amounts we are required to pay our printing or shipping providers because of them. This does not cover losses caused by our own negligence or unlawful conduct, or by our use of content beyond your instructions. We will notify you promptly of any claim for which we seek indemnification, and we will not settle a claim in a way that requires a payment or an admission from you without your written agreement. Nothing in this paragraph limits any rights you have under consumer protection law.
Disputed content. If the rights to content you sent are disputed, or we receive a takedown request or other rights complaint about it, we may pause processing or printing of that content, ask you for information supporting your right to send it, refuse to print it, and remove stored copies, including from a magazine that has not yet printed. We will tell you if we remove content from a magazine you have already paid for, and doing so does not affect any rights you have concerning that paid magazine. Please tell us promptly if you learn that a permission needed for an outstanding request has been withdrawn or is disputed.
Accepting these Terms. You accept these Terms when you continue at checkout, or save your print details, where the page tells you that doing so means you agree. When we update them, we will ask you to accept the new version before you save print details for your next magazine. An update applies from the time you accept it; it does not change the terms for magazines you ordered before then.
Publishers. If you are a rightsholder and prefer your content not be printed through Offprint, tell us at dani@getoffprint.com and we will exclude your domain promptly. We honor takedown requests: identify the work and the URL, and we will remove stored copies and prevent future printing. We follow the DMCA notice process (17 U.S.C. § 512) for all such requests.
DMCA designated agent. Notices of claimed infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 512 should be sent to our designated agent, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (Registration No. DMCA-1078545): Daniel Belfort, Offprint, 3301 NE 183rd St, Apt 2109, Aventura, FL 33160, phone (305) 965-9085, email dani@getoffprint.com. A valid notice identifies the work, the specific URL, and includes the statements and signature described in § 512(c)(3).
Repeat infringers. We terminate service, in appropriate circumstances, for readers who repeatedly submit infringing material. Content removed under a takedown request is blocked from being saved or printed again, for every reader.
Offprint may assign or transfer these Terms, and any of its rights and obligations under them, to a successor or affiliated entity, including in connection with a reorganization, incorporation or sale of the business, without further consent from you. These Terms then continue to apply between you and that entity.
